A Flyfishing Junket @ the North Bend Theater

Creekside (that's us) is hosting an indulgent flyfishing event at the North Bend Theater on Wednesday March 10th. Our friends Brian O'Keefe and Todd Moen from Catch Magazine will be traveling up from Central Oregon to show some films and photos and yak about fishing. Jack Mitchell from The Evening Hatch will also be giving a presentation on fishing in Washington of which Jack may know more than anyone else. This is not an event to be missed. Kids basketball game? There'll be another. Anniversary? There'll be another (well maybe not after this). Just come. It starts at 7pm but feel free to show up earlier to chat and bs with the presenters and drink beer and hang out. The event is FREE and donations for beer will be accepted and proceeds will go straight to TU.

Jimmy Green Memorial Flyfishing Fair

The second annual Flyfishing Fair will be held at Lake Tye in Monroe Saturday June 19th. The event begins and 9am and is FREE to the public. It will be a day full of flyfishing mania complete with a free lunch should you choose to accept. Dozens of local shops, guide services and manufacturers will be there showing off their wares however, nothing is for sale at this event. It's purely an informational and instructional event perfect for the rank beginner or the grizzled veteran. There will be raffles and activities and casting competitions among other silliness.
